"DANZA SUR - Contemporary Scene" is a documentary carried out between 2013 and 2014 about the state of contemporary dance in South America, identifying the realities of Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina; with a special focus on personal and collective practices of 130 dance makers.

More than 130 interviewees from 8 countries of the Southern Cone. A tour through pictures of how contemporary dance is performed in South America, narrated by its main representatives.

This documentary captures the ways of conceiving this discipline, reflecting an overview of how the dance is developing, rescuing bodies and the social and cultural contexts, which gives life to creative and artistic work, as well as sharing reflections on what does it mean to be part of this South American identity.
